The piece of ground known as Wrockwardine Wood Recreation Ground, comprising a bowling green, tennis court, putting green and general play area (later to become the football pitch), was left in trust by the Miner's Welfare association.

1926

Club formed

Green was extended to its present size and completely reseeded by Conway’s of Halifax

1939

Joined Mid-Shropshire League after being refused on two prior applications

1983

The current trustees were nominated & appointed at a public meeting.
