Mo Downes I Started bowling around 1969 at Wrockwardine Wood, did not play immediately. I started to bowl in club competitions and then in the league when it started. I help in any way I can at the club by selling raffle tickets at the matches and sorting out the player cards and organising sandwiches, also when required informing players of re-arranged matches. Unfortunately I have been unable to play for a number of years, but still support in all respects. I am Chairlady for the ladies section of the club, and also non-playing captain of the Ladies Afternoon League. I have made quite a few friends in my travels with both leagues.
